When you purchase an audit, we collect:

  • Email address: To deliver your audit report
  • Landing page URL: The webpage you want us to analyze
  • Payment information: Processed and stored by Paddle (our payment processor) - we never see your credit card details

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Usage data: Pages viewed, time spent, clicks
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address
  • Cookies: Small files stored on your device (see Cookies section below)

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Paddle: Confirms payment success and provides transaction details (not your full payment card info)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Generate your AI-powered audit report
  • Deliver the PDF report via email
  • Process your payment through Paddle
  • Provide customer support

2.2 Improve the Service

  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our AI models
  • Identify and fix technical issues

  • Send transactional emails (order confirmation, delivery)
  • Respond to your inquiries

We will NEVER:

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate:

  • Paddle.com: Payment processing and tax compliance (Merchant of Record)
  • Resend: Email delivery service for sending audit reports
  • Anthropic (Claude API): AI analysis of landing pages
  • Vercel: Website hosting and infrastructure

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for providing services to us.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or to:

  • Comply with legal processes (court orders, subpoenas)
  • Protect our rights, property, or safety
  • Prevent fraud or abuse of the Service

3.3 Business Transfers

If ConvertFix is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners. You will be notified of any such change.

4. Data Retention

4.1 Audit Data

  • Landing page URL and content: Stored for 30 days, then automatically deleted
  • Generated audit reports: Stored for 30 days, then automatically deleted
  • Email address: Retained for 90 days for customer support, then deleted

4.2 Payment Data

  • Transaction records: Retained by Paddle for tax and legal compliance (typically 7 years)
  • We do not store payment card information - this is handled exclusively by Paddle

4.3 Account Deletion

Since we don't have user accounts, there's no account to delete. Your data automatically expires per the retention schedule above.

5. Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or other GDPR-covered jurisdictions, you have the following rights:

Request deletion of your personal data before the automatic 30-day deletion.

If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

  • Encryption: All data transmitted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS)
  • Secure storage: Data stored on encrypted servers

7.2 Paddle Security

Payment data is handled by Paddle, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant (highest security standard for payment processors).

7.3 No Method is 100% Secure

While we strive to protect your data, no internet transmission or storage is completely secure. Use our Service at your own risk.

8. International Data Transfers

8.1 Where We Store Data

Our servers are located in:

  • Vercel: USA and EU (automatically routed to nearest location)
  • Paddle: EU (Ireland)

8.2 Data Transfers

If you are in the EEA, your data may be transferred to the USA (Vercel servers). These transfers are protected by:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
  • Adequacy decisions where applicable

9. Children's Privacy

ConvertFix is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
